April of 2025, Lakeville High School students performed Romeo & Juliet with a modern adaptation to this classic story of love, empathy, intolerance and division.

In February of 2025, LNHS performed three student-led One Acts. The Actors nightmare was directed by student Summer Field, Alice in Wonderland was directed by student Adelyn Frost, and Machinal was directed by student Jackson Steele.

Oliver!

Oliver! is a story of redemption, generosity, and the enduring power of love and kindness - ideas that resonate deeply during Christmastime. The Dickensian setting of Victorian England evokes the same world as A Christmas Carol, where the harsh realities of poverty are softened by the transformative power of compassion.

February 2024: Lakeville North High School performed three One-Act shows which were all student directed. Featuring Monty Python, directed by junior Caden Anselment, Yellow Wallpaper, directed by Annika Bakke and Sorry, Wrong Number directed Sarah Morton.

April 2024: Lakeville North Drama presents Pride and Prejudice! A classic tale with a twist, this Jane Austen favorite tells the story of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy finding their way to love despite their Pride and Prejudice.

Little Shop of Horrors

Performed by Lakeville North High School students.  Little Shop of Horrors is a Broadway musical based upon the popular Harold Gray comic strip Little Orphan Annie and loosely based on the 1885 poem "Little Orphant Annie" written by James Whitcomb Riley, with music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin, and book by Thomas Meehan.

LNHS has several performance groups in music, theater and all under the performing arts at Lakeville North High School.  The talent and commitment of the students shine through each amazing performance.

LNHS Performing Arts Booster Club

The Performing Arts Booster Club was formed in 2022 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN # 92-2101199) that supports the various performing arts groups at Lakeville North High School in Lakeville, Minnesota.  Included in this group are drama/theater, choir, ensembles, and the Now & Then Singers. The Performing Arts Booster Club are a volunteer group of adults passionate about the success of the arts programming at LNHS.  This group supports the musical director and theater director(s) as needed with upcoming performances and fundraising campaigns to support the arts programming and performances.
